Super thankful to have Travis B. come out today to get our AC and heat back up and running! Travis was extremely quick, efficient, and got us in last minute to swap out a broken zoning panel for us that was preventing both heat and AC from working. We have a 10 month old so having our home a safe temp for him in Texas’ up and down weather is always high priority. Later that day an issue (caused by a different HVAC company who previously did work for us) popped up and Travis came back that same night, found the culprit and corrected it. Highly recommend for any HVAC repair and maintenance needs!

Cruz Air & Electric has been our chosen servicing company for years because of their reliability, knowledge, and competency. We came to a home with no A/C and water overflow into a bathroom sink. Chris was the on-call tech this Friday evening, explained how things happened, and gave info at each step so that we understood. He was able to get the A/C working and house cooling down in a short time period. There are times when life happens, but we had the pleasure of meeting Chris and it was worth that experience.

Outstanding service! Came back to the house after being gone for 3 days to a leaking AC unit in the attic. Our insurance company recommended Cruz and they did a great job. Our repair person, Chris, kept us informed throughout the repair and mitigation effort. He explained things in a way we understood what was being done and he provided advice to us concerning maintenance of the unit and ways to mitigate the problem. Highly recommend this company.

Our upstairs ac was faltering and we called Cruz because they installed our downstairs ac a few years ago. Chris was our technician and he quickly diagnosed the problem. We needed a new ac and furnace and it was installed within 3 days. Chris returned after the installers to do a final check of the system. The air is blowing at a cool 61 degrees. We are grateful for the quick response and the expertise from Chris and the contractors. Also, we researched Armstrong systems, our new ac, and it gets top reviews from people in the industry and homeowners.

Travis and Chris were both great. Excellent customer service, great response time, and they explained the issue thoroughly and in a way that was easy to understand. Highly recommend Cruz AC and Electric!

Travis and Mario the field technicians were very professional and considerate of my needs they answered my questions with patience they charged my unit and even ensured it was an accurate charge using a scale, impressed, considerating others have not done that. I'm disappointed with their service. I had them install soft start switch back in Oct 2024. On May 7th my AC stopped working, so I called my service tech and he found out that the soft start switch failed due to some internal leak and this is why my AC stopped working. I took the switch back to Cruz Air office on May 9th for replacement. Well, they will not replace the switch till they get a new one from their vendor. It is end of May, and I'm still waiting to hear from them. I paid CruzAir for switch (not their vendor!) and installation and right now I still don't have a working switch! Frankly, I don't understand their policy in this case!

Cruz Air & Electric has been my go to company for many years now. I trust their team with my HVAC and Electrical needs. This is my second generator I have had them install on both of my homes. The entire staff from office personnel (Diana and Phobie), to the HVAC department (Travis and Chris), to the electrical side (Adam, Mario, and others) have been professional, on time, and over all the BEST customer service. They installed a whole-home generator and pendant lights with precision and care, making sure everything was done neatly and efficiently. We purchased a home in December with a GENERAC. The previous owners used Cruz for repairs. Cruz came and determined we need upgrades with the gas meter and other items to ensure it worked properly.
What impressed me is that Adam Cruz contacted us personally, gave us his contact information, added his contact info on the app to be notified for any service issues/alerts and made sure we knew how to use our Generac related app.
The customer service, quick turnaround on repairs, repair costs make this company so wonderful. I enjoy calling them because the wonderful lady answering the phone calls is so sweet, friendly and helpful (rare to find these days). Her voice has NEVER had that "I hate this job & customers" tone.

I contacted Cruz to quote a complete AC replacement. Travis and Chris came out the same day to provide a quote and answer any concerns I had. After looking at all my options, I decided that Travis’s professionalism, ability to answer my concerns, and no “high pressure” sales pitch won me over. After we agreed to the job, Cruz had a crew out the next day for the replacement. From start to finish everyone at Cruz has been very polite, honest, and professional. Very pleased with the whole process.

We got a generator with Cruz Air. Other companies were telling me it would take 6 months or more. Cruz told me they could start immediately. They were very prompt and did a great job at a competitive price. Our job wasn't a-typical, because we also had solar and Tesla wall batteries. They made sure to work with the solar company to insure everything was integrated correctly and our solar warranty was not lost due to altering things without the companies imput. They also came back during Beryl and worked past 2 in the morning to help neighbors whose generators were having issues. I would highly recommend them!

A very good technician with a wide range of knowledge in his field. Travis communicated very well with us, and shared his experience and thoughts to help us make the best decision for our AC unit. We look forward to seeing him on our next maintenance visit.

My downstairs A/C unit wasn't cooling properly and Travis came out to check on it. It was low on Freon so he filled it up and everything works properly. One month later the upstairs unit started blowing warm air so I called Cruz Air & Electric and asked for Travis to come check it out. He arrived on time the next day and tried to get it fixed, but the unit was 26 years old, so I decided to get it replaced. He quoted me a fair price for a new unit and his crew did a great job of installing. Travis came by after the installation to check on everything and was very professional and helpful. The unit is working great and I highly recommend Travis and Cruz Air & Electric if you have any A/C problems.

I had Cruz electric come install an EV plug for my vehicle last year. The team was professional, on time, and cleaned up the area better than they left it. Now with the recent power outage, I will be reaching out for their service on installing a standby generator.

The Cruz’s have installed two generac generators in our last two homes. The one we are in now worked for 7 days straight. He even gave me some pointers on what to do after it ran for a couple days and how to keep it cool. If you need a trustful company, and will educate you on the products- these are your guys! Family owned and operated! Get with these guys for one asap- do not wait for the next time it’s needed.

All I can say is wow! Mr. Blackwell was very professional and courteous. Will definately use him again if we have an ac problem!

I replaced my 22 year old HVAC units last November. Cruz Air & Electric did a great job but the real hero was Travis Blackwell. He spent several hours reviewing options for the new units and answering lots of technical questions. I ended up with the Trane variable speed system which is operating flawlessly and very economical with electricity. Travis came here at the start of the AC season and did a complete check to make sure everything was set up properly. He is extremely personable and delivers on everything he sells. Couldnt ask for a better technician and trusted HVAC advisor.

We have been using Cruz for over 20 years now. They are honest and reliable.
Our technician, Dylan Pesnell, was prepared to add 4 plus pounds of Freon-which as you know has skyrocketed at $210.00 per pound.
He checked a couple things and told us it wasn’t leaking and full!
Coils were clogged! He gave it a good bath and BOOM….we’re back in business!

Additionally, we met one of the most outstanding, professional, and upstanding young man in Dylan Pesnell, that we’ve have encountered in many years. I’d like to highly RECOMMEND and briefly decribe our experience with both; Cruz A/C & Electric for their service, efficient turnaround time and communications we received. And of course, Dylan, who made it all happen.

Evening time ion 08/15, we had ½ of our home in Huffman, TX, without working thermostats or A/C. Knowing Cruz A/C & Electric were located in Humble, the possibility of service to the remote Huffman Commons would probably be next day.

I called Cruz A/C & Electric at 5:18pm on Monday 08/15 and reached their answering service. They were polite and quickly took my information. Within 4 minutes, Dylan called me at 5:22pm and said he would come out to our home. At 5:25pm, I received a text message from Cruz A/C & Electric that Dylan was heading our way and the message professionally conveyed Dylan’s certifications and phone numbers to call should we encounter any issues.

Within minutes, Dylan arrived, very professional in dress and demeanor and confident in assessing the problem. Before 6pm, Dylan not only assessed the problem but made the necessary repairs and our entire home was cooling again.

Dylan was fantastic! My neighbors home wasn’t cooling & he came out at 10 PM to fix it. He diagnosed the issue and replaced a part quickly & efficiently. The house went from 83 to 74 in a few hours, thank you Dylan! He was friendly & I would definitely call him again.

Dylan with Cruz Air really helped us out! We called early on a hot June Sunday afternoon because our AC was not working. Dylan had arrived at our house in less than an hour!! And because we called before 5pm on Sunday, we were only charged the normal service fee, not an emergency fee!
